It’s all about the little things in life, and they affect your finances, relationships and most of all your health. Simple, unassuming good habits are hard to get started but after that it’s easy, and a good habit is almost always free. One habit I am going to develop, now that it’s milder out and mornings are crisp and cool, is to start each new day with a cleansing breath or “bellows breathing.” No I probably will not be doing this the very minute I get up, but very quickly after that while I am taking my dog out for her morning visit to the facilities. Here are some simple instructions for a few different techniques for breathing for different therapeutic outcomes. Just don’t march outside and take a big snort of polluted air… if you live in a highly polluted city environment you’re better off doing it inside.
