A county in Georgia recently banned the use of torturous bullhooks on elephants. A small victory but it’s a beginning. Hopefully there will be a day soon it’s worldwide, and elephants can only be kept in a large, free, elephant compatible habitats with other elephants (they need each other). No longer will zoos and circuses be allowed to keep them for entertainment. Do we really want to see one at a circus? Knowing how miserable that poor animal is? Definitely consider boycotting any circus that still uses animals for entertainment, especially large animals. There is no way they can provide a decent environment for these beautiful creatures. If you have a heart for elephants check out the site for all the ways you can get active and make a real difference for them.
